Some guidelines on how to choose office desks
Whenever we have to choose a specific piece of furniture, beyond focusing only on personal taste, it is always better to consider several factors; all contributing equally to the yield of the environment. In the case of PC desks, we have more elements to keep in mind; to name the most important:
- size: a basic rule is that there is never enough space. First consider the work surface, that is the area where PCs, books, whatever we have at hand will go; but that’s not all: also adjust yourself with regard to the height (usually around 80cm), and to the fact that it is ergonomic for you. - materials: if solutions in glass or methacrylate become increasingly widespread today, the two basic materials for desks remain wood and metal.
